we are a small family in El Dorado County who raise Broad Breasted white turkeys as well as Cornish cross and Red Ranger meat chickens. They are fed a non GMO diet and allowed to graze ,exercise and live a loved and well cared for life.
We process them ourselves and do not use any chemicals in our processing but instead use natural elements such as apple cider vinegar. We also process them very humanely and kindly as to not stress them out.

We will be doing Thanksgiving turkeys and would it be available fresh at $6.99 a pound, or frozen would be available for $5.99 a pound.
Our chicken is also processed and is the same price.
Our turkeys run anywhere from 15 to 25 pounds and our chickens usually run anywhere from 4 to 7 pounds.
The turkey and chicken are sold whole.
Right now we are seeing if there is any interest in the Bay Area or Valley area if we were to expand our sales region. Currently we only sell to people within our county but are looking to provide top quality healthy meat as far as we can.

Hi Myra, my name is Sylvia and I just took over administering this website and listserv from slow food east bay. I would love to work with you to get your poultry (including turkey) to the Bay Area market. I did something similar last year with a farm in Petaluma. Please contact me at sylvia.eastbaybulkbuy@gmail.com directly so we can get something going!

Good evening.  I did send you an email.  I would love to see what we can do!  Thanks so much!

we also do turkeys as well as chickens year round. if anyone has any need or interest we can provide them with top quality non GMO poultry throughout the year.

I don't need a Thanksgiving turkey, but I would buy a big one (20 pounds or more) for New Year's Day if I could get it fresh sometime at the very end of December.

I'm not sure if I would have any ready by then.  I really don't have a huge market for Turkey other than Thanksgiving right now, but I will keep you in mind should things change.
