Rose: Okay. Nancy - that brings it back down to 3 people sharing, so you can get half of the quarter share, if you still want it.

Nancy, Rose, and EA: I've order the beef from Stemple Creek. I'll keep you posted as I get information about it. Thanks for joining!

Rose: The cost for a quarter cow is about $525.00, plus the cost of butcher/wrap, which is about $100 - $150. This is about 100 pounds of beef, which we split between us. With three people going in, the cost will be about $230 each.  It's not possible to be specific, since we don't know how much our particular quarter will weigh. You can see all the information on http://stemplecreek.com/

Thanks for responding, and I hope you decide to join us! I can order and pick up the meat, and we can meet at my house in Pleasant Hill to split it.

What is the price. I'm very interested in going in.

We've got two people hoping to share a quarter cow. We need one more person to take part of the share.

Hi All. I've been a member over at the Mt. Diablo group, which has become extremely quiet. I'm looking for 1 or 2 people to share a quarter cow from Stemple Creek.  I can pick up the meat.

Does any one have a hog for sale?

Any seasoned CSA members out there willing to walk through the process, preferences, ranchers?  I'd like to do a short video about meat CSAs (I'm a journalist and a new member)

I have a 1/2 cow being delivered on Nov 3rd. I only can use 1/2 the order (1/4 cow) because I am picking up 1/4 pig around the same time. I now have a storage dilemma.
