I saw that there is a 1/2 available from the Miller ranch. I'd like a 1/4 myself. Did you find a fourth person or can you each do a 1/3 of a 1/4. Price looks pretty good. I left a question regarding butchering & packaging.

Any interest?

I'm a grass-fed beef producer. I have several steers and heifers that will be finished in May. Check out my site @ Kistlercamp.com (scroll right when the page appears)

Hi Laurie,
I'm in. One more person and I think we have ourselves a 1/4 of a steer! I'm going to follow your lead on this one if that is alright by you. Just let me know what I need to do.
Thanks,
Wendy

If we have three interested folks, we could easily split a quarter of a steer. Unfortunately, I don't have the storage space for much more. Check out Marin Sun Farms on the website, and see what you all think.

Hi, I'm new to this...been kicking around buying some portion of a cow, steer, pig, etc for some time. Came across an article that led me here. Would like to ease into it, so if you guys need some help splitting up the meat please count me in. Thanks!

Ok, well there are several suppliers who will deliver with at least a quarter of a steer, but I don't have room for that much. I was hoping to split it with one or two others. Our other option that I'm aware of is sort of a meat club, where you will get a delivery monthly to one location, and that person would distribute it to the rest. Marin Sun requires ten members, I believe to add a drop site.
