Reza, my ranch is in Morgan Hill and the nearest butchershop I deal with north of me is in San Jose. Maybe if several in your group were interested in purchasing lamb(s) coming to San Jose and picking up the meat after processing could be done by one person.
I've yet to see any lower haight specific emails sent out on this list. The last couple deals required me to travel to San Jose to pick up meat. Is there a more general list I can subscribe to that will have more offers (given that nothing so far is lower-haight specific)?
PastoralPlate, a local meat buying club, has sent out its March Order Form. The club offers local (Marin and Sonoma) grass-fed beef, organic lamb, natural pork, fabulous heritage chickens and eggs. One of the original aspects of the club is that you can order specific cuts rather than large shares. This is all USDA and comes stamped as such. Pickup is in the castro-mission.
