How much approx. is it per vacuum packed pound for a 1/4 share? I'm in the Napa area. -
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you - my email put the notice in spam so I just found it. I do have someone interested in the 1/4 that contacted me in the first 1/2 hr after I posted. I am waiting to hear back from him as I just got the hanging weights back so I just contracted him to see if he wants the meat for sure. If he decides not to go forward with it, I will contact you.
The hanging weight on the 1/4 is 156 lbs - the cost to us is $340 and the cost of vacuum sealing is $109.20. The total is $449.20 - You work directly with the butcher on how you want it cut and wrapped. Also, if this doesn't work we are planning another harvest at the end of this month.
