I don't think I'll be doing beef for awhile. Still have a lot of meat in my freezer and have promised my roommate that what is in it now must leave before I try to buy another animal. Plus, because the cow required so many people, I ended up with 4-5 people/20 flaking out which was annoying. I agree that Prather is very tasty and I will probably be doing it again someday...You can buy Prather at their stand at the Ferry Bldg (more expensive, I know).

Hi Leeshawn,

I looked and it seems I did end up with one chub (about 1 lb I think) of ground/sausage, that was supposed to stay with your bag. I'll save it and we can find a way to get it to you. Otherwise, our bag had ham steaks, pork chops, bacon (no roasts as I've gotten with other shares) and I tried to split those as evenly as possible. If you did not get 2 packets of bacon, 2 or 3 ham steaks and a couple packets of chops, you should have (that is what was in the bag when I left). When I was there Winnie said to take fat if I wanted it, but it didn't seem to be pre-distributed with the bags, I have one packet of it. Sorry for any confusion, if you did not end up with bacon, ham steaks and pork chops we should bring Winnie into the discussion to see what changed after I left.

Again, I do have some ground (they're labeled sausage, but I haven't opened it to see what its like) that should have stayed with your bag. I'm sorry for the mistake and am happy to make sure that you get it. Where are you located?

Though it is my fault I put the ground in the wrong bag, so far I've found this pig share a lot more confusing than the previous pig share I went in on...

-Allison, we were to split up the pork shares to make each half fair. it seems like i got a bunch of pork fat, bacon, and pork chops. id like to have gotten some ground pork and some sort of variety. did you get 2 packages of pork fat too? please i dont find this fair. thanks

End cost for half a pig = $360-$450 (60-75lbs x $6)
