Yes, we are still on! Sorry it took me so long to respond, we went out picking wild plums earlier this week and I've spent every day in the kitchen since, making Plum Butter, Plum Chutney, etc... Haven't spent more than five minutes at the computer all week.
The only thing I'd like to know is if there is any word yet as to estimated cost, weight, etc? And where is the pick-up location?
Also, do you suppose that they will have extra trotters and/or organ meat?

Marlene, regarding the hog thing, do you have any details in terms of time of day and expected length? The only saturdays I might be able to make it is the 22nd or 29th. If I can't make it, do you mind if you bring back the carcass for me and I'll pick it up that day?
And I'm happy to bring people some pink salt and discuss making bacon.
