Hi Peter   Last time we talked our herd was in the wee stages of growing,  now we are at about 15 breeding sows, and have 30 pigs ready for market.   Call me if you would like to sample some of our pork.  100% Berkshire  that has never eaten a commerically produced corn based mix.   Just good food.   I look forward to your call.     831-320-8707

Hi Peter:

I have angus beef, boer nubian cross goats and suffock sheep. 

I have 2 lambs ready for butcher now, as soon as I find buyers.  The goats haven't been born yet but I will have 6 to 10 for sale in August 2010.  I will also have 4 beef animals, 1000 plus pounds, for sale in August 2010.

The animals can be purchased in whole or halves.  If half portions are desired I need the two buyers lined up before butchering. 

The animals are free range grass feed.

The mobil butchers I use is either Hext or Johnson.  It usually costs $130.00 to slaughter a beef animal and $60.00 to slaughter small animals.  This price includes transporting the animal to Freedom Lockers for processing.

I have a  ranch in Morgan Hill.  I have beef goats and sheep for sale at different times.    I would be interested in discussing with you some purchase options.  I use a mobil butcher and the meat is processed at Freedom Lockers in Freedom.

Sorry- I thought people knew who I was. I referred to Devil's Gulch pork as raised in a dirt lot- that is the truth, not disparaging. The growing pigs are in fenced yards with dirt floors, not pasture. Dirt lot is the term used in the livestock industry for that type of grow out practice. His website says that he feeds waste bread and conventional/organic milk, again the truth from his own website. If you find these facts disparaging, perhaps you don't like his production practices?
